In the event of severe weather, the university’s Office of Emergency Management will monitor these alerts closely and send official updates to all faculty, staff, and students via email, text, and through the JSU homepage.<\/p><p>If severe weather poses a significant threat to our area, Jackson State University, in consultation with local government authorities, reserves the right to close campus or cancel classes.
