Instructions to complete forms

Go to JSU’s Softdocs Etrieve System
Enter oneYour J Number as the username (Example oneJ12345678) and your NetID password as the password. (You can set/reset your NetID on the JSU homepage)
Go to Forms and select Financial Aid
Select the appropriate form needed
Complete and submit form online printout of forms will not be accepted with the exception of the Verification of Educational Purpose and Identity form

Service Timeline for Submitted Documents

All documents submitted to the Office of Financial Aid can take up to 21 business days for processing.

To prevent a delay in processing your documents, read below:

Follow the Instructions to complete forms above BEFORE completing the required forms.
Students must sign into the SoftDocs Etreive System with JSU credentials in order to provide an attachment to any form.
Student signatures are provided when submitting the form.
Parent Signatures are provided by receiving an email link to sign the form. Parents cannot attach documents to online forms
Verify documents are filled accurately and completely.
Check that paper documents that require a signature have HANDWRITTEN signatures; Typed or electronic signatures are NOT acceptable for these forms.
Verify that all documents contain the student’s name and J-Number.
