Dr. Mark Morgan's biography
Dr. Mark Morgan oversees the MBA, MPA and PhD programs and has developed programs and taught accounting, auditing and fraud topics for many years to participants, students, and managers for universities, state agencies, professional accounting associations, chambers of commerce and accounting firms. He presently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in traditional in class and online programs. He is also a level-5 instructor for the Mississippi State Personnel Board's Human Resource Certification Program.
Dr. Morgan is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Past President, Vice President, and Training Director for the Mississippi Central Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a former member of the Higher Education Partnership Committee for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in Austin, TX and a previous senior investigator for the Mississippi Department of Revenue. He has testified to 68 grand juries and served as an expert witness to both circuit and civil trails. Dr. Morgan has published 13 peer-reviewed journals articles in the last 15 years.
