About the Clinic

What is the APSC?

The Applied Psychological Services Clinic (APSC) is located in the College of Liberal Arts on the 3rd floor, Suite 327, and occupies approximately 1,800 square feet. The clinic provides supervised psychological testing and therapeutic services delivered by faculty psychologists and Clinical Psychology Trainees (CPTs) from the Department of Psychology.

The clinic's layout includes two furnished therapy rooms and two assessment rooms with one-way mirrors, an observation room, a waiting room, two offices, and a group therapy room — supporting both individual care and clinical training.

When to consider the APSC

The APSC provides two primary categories of service: clinical psychological testing and therapeutic support for emotional and mental-health concerns.

Assessment
Psychological Testing
If you need a formal psychological assessment, the APSC offers evaluations across several domains, including:
  • IQ assessment
  • ADHD evaluation
  • Learning disability assessment
  • Academic achievement testing
  • Personality assessment
  • Other clinical evaluations
Therapy & Support
Mental Health Support
Consider the APSC if you are feeling or experiencing any of the following:
  • Depression or sadness
  • Anxiousness or nervousness
  • Anger or uncontrollable anger
  • Exaggerated fears
  • Sleeping or eating difficulties
  • Panic attacks
  • Severe grief reactions
