Zoom is a cloud-based simplified but robust video conferencing software application that enables organizations in the educational, financial, health care, and government sectors to conduct virtual meetings and collaborate in real-time using integrated communication tools. Features include a personal meeting ID, voice and video conferencing, screen sharing, messaging, video webinars, virtual backgrounds and workspaces, attendance tracking and polls, cloud recording, reporting, and more. Zoom’s Cloud Meetings app is available for any iOS and Android mobile device.
For Zoom access in Canvas, all users are required to activate their JSU Zoom account.
